Smart Church Management (SCM) is committed to providing a resource for information to help your nonprofit or church develop and grow. If you subscribe to the SCM newsletter, or the RSS Feed, SCM will not sell your email address to third parties or spam you. Cookie/Tracking Technology
SCM may use tracking technology and cookies which are used to gather information such as operating system and browser type, tracking visitors to the site, and helping to understand how the site is used by visitors. A visitor’s personal information cannot be collected by cookies or other tracking technology but if a user previously provided personal information, cookies may be tied to that information. Third parties, like our advertisers, may use cookies to collect information while serving ads to a visitor. Most browsers accept cookies automatically but there is usually an option to modify the browser settings to decline cookies. Google is a third party vendor who uses cookies to serve ads on this site. Google uses the DART cookie that enables it to serve ads to users based on visits to SCM and other internet sites. Third Party Information Collection
SCM may allow third-parties that use cookies, pixels or other tracking technologies to record IP information about users who visit SCM website. SCM does not provide any personal information to third parties. The information allows third parties to target advertising and gauge the effectiveness of ads. Some of these third-parties may be part of advertising networks and members of the Network Advertising Initiative. NAI offers a single location to opt out of targeting ads from member companies.
Distribution of Information
SCM does not share personal information to any third parties for marketing purposes. However, SCM may share information with relevant government agencies or other companies that may be assisting SCM in investigations or fraud prevention. SCM may do so when: (1) permitted or required by law; (2) trying to prevent potential fraud or unauthorized transaction; (3) a fraud that has already taken place or is being investigated.
Data Security Commitment
SCM is committed to keeping personal identifiable information secure. Only authorized SCM employees will have access to personal information with an agreement to keep information secure and confidential. Emails and newsletters from SCM allow you to opt out.
Email Subscriptions and RSS
SCM collects information about how visitors access SCM RSS feeds but SCM does not collect any personal information about our RSS subscribers. SCM’s feed services collect email addresses of visitors that subscribe to SCM feed via email. Information about subscribers to SCM’s feed is kept in strict confidence. SCM will not release or disclose any subscriber information unless required by law. Aggregated information that is stripped of personal information may be disclosed.
Comments
All comments submitted to SCM are the sole responsibility of the commenter. SCM reserves the right to edit or remove comments at our discretion. Commenting site URLs are published with the comments. Email addresses are required to submit comments, however, email addresses will not be disclosed unless the commenter enters their email address in the comment box along with the box labeled for email addresses. SCM reserves the right to delete comments at our sole discretion that are not beneficial to SCM readership. This includes self promotion, harassment, span, threats, profanity or any sort.
